सांख्ययोग

नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः | न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः ||२-२३||

nainaṃ chindanti śastrāṇi nainaṃ dahati pāvakaḥ . na cainaṃ kledayantyāpo na śoṣayati mārutaḥ ||2-23||

In plain words

You are invited to feel completely safe and invincible, knowing that no physical force can ever harm your true Self. Weapons cannot cut you, fire cannot burn you, water cannot wet you, and wind cannot dry you. This realization is pure jnana, or spiritual knowledge, which shields you from maya, the illusion that material elements can destroy your soul.

Translation

2.23 Weapons do not cleave It (the self), fire does not burn It, waters do not wet It, and wind does not dry It.

Meaning

The Self is indivisible. It has no parts. It is extremely subtle. It is infinite. Therefore sword cannot cut It fire cannot burn It water cannot wet It wind cannot dry It.
