In plain words
You are urged to acknowledge the limits of your own mind when facing life-altering decisions. Sometimes, you cannot foresee whether winning or losing will bring more grief. This uncertainty shows that you need jnana, the spiritual wisdom that looks beyond immediate outcomes, to guide your karma, which means your actions, when the path ahead is entirely unclear.
Translation
2.6 We do not know, which of the two is better for us - whether our vanishing them, or their vanishing us. The very sons of Dhrtarastra, whom, if we slay, we should not wish to live, even they are standing in array against us.
