कर्मयोग

तस्मादसक्तः सततं कार्यं कर्म समाचर | असक्तो ह्याचरन्कर्म परमाप्नोति पूरुषः ||३-१९||

tasmādasaktaḥ satataṃ kāryaṃ karma samācara . asakto hyācarankarma paramāpnoti pūruṣaḥ ||3-19||

In plain words

You must perform your daily duties diligently but without any attachment to the results. By dedicating your karma, which means your actions, to a higher purpose rather than your own ego, you purify your heart. This selfless path leads you directly to ultimate liberation and frees you from the illusions of maya, the worldly delusion.

Translation

3.19 Therefore without attachment do your work which ought to be done. For, a man who works without attachment attains to the Supreme.

Meaning

If you perform actions without attachment for the sake of the Lord you will attain to Selfrealisation through purity of heart. (Cf. II.64IV.19 23XVIII.49).

Word by word

तस्मात् therefore असक्तः without attachment सततम् always कार्यम् which should be done कर्म action समाचर perform असक्तः without attachment हि because आचरन् performing कर्म action परम् the Supreme आप्नोति attains पूरुषः man.
