Arjuna Visada Yoga

अर्जुनविषादयोग

अत्र शूरा महेष्वासा भीमार्जुनसमा युधि | युयुधानो विराटश्च द्रुपदश्च महारथः ||१-४||

atra śūrā maheṣvāsā bhīmārjunasamā yudhi . yuyudhāno virāṭaśca drupadaśca mahārathaḥ ||1-4||

By identifying these inner enemies clearly, you prepare yourself to practice jnana, the spiritual wisdom needed to see through their temporary power over you.

Translation

1.4 There (in that army) are heroes, great bowmen, like Bhima and Arjuna; Yuyudhana,Virata and Drupada a mighty warrior;

Meaning

Technically maharatha means a warrior who is proficient in the science of war and who is able to fight alone with ten thousand archers.
