सांख्ययोग

विहाय कामान्यः सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति निःस्पृहः | निर्ममो निरहङ्कारः स शान्तिमधिगच्छति ||२-७१||

vihāya kāmānyaḥ sarvānpumāṃścarati niḥspṛhaḥ . nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ sa śāntimadhigacchati ||2-71||

In plain words

You must abandon all personal desires and let go of the false sense of ownership to find lasting peace. By living without selfishness and ego, you align with your true dharma, your righteous duty and nature. This complete surrender of the ego frees you from anxiety and leads you directly to eternal spiritual liberation.

Translation

2.71 The man who, abandoning all desires, abides without longing and possession and the sense of 'I' and 'mine', wins peace.

Meaning

That man who lives destitute of longing abandoning all desires without the senses of I and mine who is satisfied with the bare necessities of life who does not care even for those bare necessities of life who has no attachment even for the bare necessities of life attains Moksha or eternal peace. (Cf. II.55).
